FDN

Real Health MD, a virtual integrative oncology practice specializing in breast cancer, is hiring an FDN-trained health coach.

You will use the coaching techniques and principles you have learned to provide diet and lifestyle coaching, functional medicine lab test interpretation, and supplement recommendations under the guidance and support of Dr. Jenn Simmons.

Responsibilities

Acquire and review patient histories and assessments
Identify patient health challenges and issues
Interpret functional lab test results, specifically as it relates to patient health challenges.
Issue appropriate diet and lifestyle guidance and supplement recommendations
Document clinical findings and recommendations in clients’ charts
Monitor patients’ progress and keep records of office visits, supplements, treatments, lab tests and/or other health related events.
Attend to clinically related patient phone calls, texts, and emails.
Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for the patients
Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards

Experience

Proven work experience in health & lifestyle coaching, specifically including nutrition
Knowledge of health guidelines
Familiarity in nutrition technology and current know-how
Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
Caring and compassionate
Team player with good communication skills
Completion of FDN certification program
Experience with cancer care is a huge plus!

Pay: $75 per hour to start
